After we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview to help find the best volunteer assignment fit for your interest, experience, and availability.

Before you are scheduled in your regular volunteer assignment you will need to complete orientation, position specific training, successfully pass a background check and Employee Health screening, and demonstrate ability to perform all tasks of assigned service area.

TB screening is required for all hospital volunteers initially and renewed annually. There is no charge for this test if it is administered by Salinas Valley Health Employee Health Services. You will also be asked to provide immunization records.
